I've tried using a bot on soundclick to boost my plays and raise my position in the charts. Under my account I can see that my number of plays have went up, but my chart position has fallen. I'm guessing there's some other factor I'm missing about how the plays are counted toward the charts.

Could it be because the proxies I'm using are bad? The proxies are being taken from proxyserverfinder.com.

Maybe the songs have to be listened to for a certain amount of time for them to count towards chart position?

I'm fairly new to this whole play/view increasing thing. Maybe a black hat expert can give me some advice on this.

you might be getting a lot of plays, but the question is are they unique plays

So in other words my proxy list is probably bad?
ask yourself how many proxies youre using (that actually work) compared to views youre generating.
are you using 10 legit proxies and generating 1000 plays?

that technically means every "person" is playing it 100 times...
most likely not gonna happen. & it also means you only had ten people play it, not 1000.

You have to have reasonable insights for more advanced websites.

Okay. Thanks. I'm thinking that may have been the problem. Not trying to bombard you with questions, but is there a tool that you would recommend for checking if proxies are good or bad?

I would definitely like to know this also. Soundclick and Youtube plays are just as similar. If anyone knows how to get unique Youtube plays they definitely know how to get Soundclick plays
