Sometimes Life Can't Get Much Better!

I agree. I wish I would have been available Saturday morning for it. BUT. Most people who viewed the implosion were a couple miles away. The afternoon right before the implosion I snuck over to the St. John's Power Park and parked right across the street at the entrance to some wrecking yard and snapped a pretty close shot.

Then did the same Sunday morning. Looked like some trippy David Copperfield work.

There is a set of reactors in San Onefre California, thst you see when you’re sailing back to the USA from overseas, affectionately known as the tits of America.

Our home is up on a hill and elevated + we are about 45 feet from the edge of the water so the home is safe.

When Irma made her appearance last year we had water creeping up to about 30 feet or so from the house but it receded after all was said and done.

I'm in a flood zone but I doubt we will ever have a real problem.

Yeah, @BassTrackerBoats Maybe you're safe, but sure doesn't seem like Bob would be! If this was done with 2 days and a half of raining, imagine a hurricane!

I still fear for bob!

We are in North Central Florida. Not near any cities most would have heard of and we did that on purpose as we wanted to retire in the most peaceful place we could find.

We are actually looking for a second home somewhere up north so that in the summers we can head there due to the heat down here.

We spent a bunch of money cutting down trees and branches that restricted our view. That area is not visible in the picture but if you were to go 25 feel left of the dock you could not see anything so we had trees removed and branches that were over hanging on the edge removed to give us a more expansive view.

Those Geese are pets and if I shot one to eat my wife would have me sleeping with the fishes.

What did you do for a living? and side hustles?

That's a gorgeous view! Very jealous that I don't live somewhere near the water right now - lucky you!

This was my front lawn either Friday or Saturday - not sure which.

Pay to go to a Zoo?

What, are you nuts?

I can only hear a seagull screams near my place, and it annoys sometimes. Feelsbadman

I used to live on the Ocean but could not sleep because of the noise from the waves; never heard a seagull scream there though.

Currently I live in India.
Would love to be your neighbor one day.

Well, you'll have to move to Florida then as I'm not moving to India - too far from all my family.

Wow. if we want to take relax, just go and sit there for a long time. You'll feel good and peaceful.
Hope if there something near to my home.
