Something Worth Looking Into

I kind of hate to put this on here because I usually try to not let things get out otherwise they end fast, but here goes.

I have messed around a little with doing comments outside Facebook in their comment boxes on websites. There is a report link, but every one that I have click on I was given an error, so I think the report links dont work for reporting spam or abuse.

It is like posting in BB but of course in FB comment boxes. Be great to automate this.

The thing I found hard is finding sites that use the comment box, I have tried to search "Post comment to my Facebook profile"

I just posted at http://apps. facebook .com/ cbssports/

Some 26k comments, so it is active. I clicked on report, got the error.

Anyone have major sites using fb comments?

Nice share Charles, i'm looking into it to see if I can find a way to locate all pages like this. Will share if I find something.

And I dont know if it helps for back linking, I am clueless with that stuff, but I know FB indexes pages that have comments/wall posts from FB with links on them.

you then take the ID from the graph feed and place it here to find the app

I've already developed a script to do this. What is the point of having these application IDs? It is not like you can develop a single application to go through every type of app.

And they need to be the plugin comment boxes. Their report link is the one not working.

I posted on like 7 comments tabs on facebook last night, few of them have already been index by Google, within 24 hrs.

Now, will those be considered as backlinks, to help my ranking? As I said, I am clueless about SEO and backlinking.

i don't think they help at all because they are javascipt based links
