Something weird on IG

I have a few IG accounts some big some little. I actually didn't get started into botting until about 2 months ago. The past couple days I noticed something weird:

account A - is just under 10k followers <-main business account was grown purely manually/organically for 10months until I found FL and now I use botting very "gently" on it because it is my main business. Only a hundred follows/unfollows a day and same for likes between 10am-6pm. All posts, comments and DMs I do manually and even a lot of unfollows I do manually.

The strangest thing happened and it has happened 2 days in a row, right when I was about to hit 10k followers around 9990 followers I instantly drops to 9833 followers, the second time it did the same thing around the same mark down to 9838 followers.

Now when I look on my phone it shows 9840 followers, when I look on the web it shows 9977 followers and when i look on FL it shows 9833 followers.

The question is why do they not match and has anybody else experienced something like this? Any insight would be great.

It's happened to me before. Even on accounts that aren't botted. I think it's just instagram clearing bot followers. Everyone gets them, but just don't know it.

they probably deleted bot accounts.

It might also be people thinking there's a prize for the 10,000th follower, so they unfollow right before.

It's just weird that the numbers don't match up. That was the really strange part to me, I had heard about the IG clearing bots thing and it makes sense too.

I'm having the same problem at the moment with my account, every time I hit 25.8k, after a hour it will drop me back down to 25.7k. its done it 2 days in a row now

Have you tried turning it off and on again?

Only one of my accounts had a similar problem a few days ago, it was showing around 18,800 followers when I checked it manually by going to instagram.com but it was showing 20,000+ followers on Followliker, but after a couple of days, it jumped to 20,000+ and the followers are increasing ever since.

I have actually that was the first thing I did... Both with FL and on my phone, even now I'm still getting 2 diff numbers. My mobile and FL both show one and then on website shows a different... very strange to me.

I think what happened was since you looked at the followers count, it dropped because the account was doing something and maybe just finished and also it could be sometimes people cant follow you so to make it work again, instagram revert the profile to its orriginal state and as a penalization they make it drop.

Bot/fake accounts being deleted by Instagram.

Two options for the loss there, you either bought fake accounts, or the fake accounts started following you.

Just look at your average likes. These should remain the same, which, in reality, is better for you as your engagement % will increase.

Don't worry about it, unless you were buying fake accounts. But, if you did that, you get what you paid for.
