Something very weird is going on with my sites...

Ok so, about 15 of my niche sites that I don't have been SEO'ing since last summer, all of a sudden are ALL ranking #1 or #3 for all their keywords

I have done absolutely nothing to these sites in a long time. The only backlinks I have built in the past are using BuildMyRank, and as we all know they have been de-indexed.

The only thing I can think of that is causing this is some kind of new algorithm in G. Have they recently (like the past couple of days) rolled out any new "panda" stuff?

This is great, dont get me wrong. But I am ranking sites right now pretty successfully then all of a sudden all of my "older" sites just shoots to the top! I am outranking huge brands and retailers...

Anyone else experiencing any positive movement in the last couple of days?

The key question is are your keywords worth anything, and are you even seeing an increase in traffic due to your ranking?

If the answer is no, then you need not look any further. On-site optimization probably got you there alone. Or even bare minimum keyword placement could get you there.

If the answer to the first question is yes, you may want to log out of accounts, clear your cache, cookies, use a different computer, etc. and ensure your rankings are legitimate.

If the answer to both questions is still yes, and your rankings have been verified as legitimate, you will then need to look into your backlinks and see if any were built without your knowledge.

I'm noticing a slight positive shift for my sites, but I cannot definitively say anything has changed as I have done plenty of backlinking.

All i gotta say is "congrats"... enjoy the new found rankings.... try to monetize them asap....
