It may be a form of lock that requires you to verify via sms of the first person to use that FB profile

We don't encounter it, the customers use their own profiles and they encounter that situation

Can you describe in more detail the problem you are having?
Here's something to make you feel good about, 10 years ago I replicated a entire account around a guy as with he's pics and all for Facebook, gave him a story, and even built a time line, family friends all of it, but I suspect the guys dead because he's original accounts gone deleted yet I still login, the only difference is he's surname is he's first name.
If there was a check-in thing you talk about that account would have been gone along time ago.

My client uses a private profile and gets a checkpoint to verify their phone number, but they don't know the number
Maybe it checked the original phone number when creating the account
My customer profile doesn't show that option

Use a good profile, it will help you
