Hi. I made some backlinks about 2 weeks ago and I knew there will be a google dance as always.
My keywords (about 12 kws)were dancing from #10 to NA to 130 etc. etc. nothing special.
Most of the keywords already jumped to an higher position than before, BUT except ONE keyword.

It seems like it won't recover from the Google Dance. It still around #230, sometimes its going to NA and then jumping to #110 etc., but it never comes back to the Top 20 (before it was on #12).

Someone over here who made the same experience?
I find it strange all other keywords (about 12 kws) were coming back or even got higher than their previous ranking, but this ONE kw seems to be little bit broken.

Am also experiencing this on my authority website. Built some high natural white hat link to it, and it went from 3rd page to 4th and it's dancing..

I think, google is taking time to index new links or whatever algo they're using now.

Strange.

I would suggest you giving it some time . It will prob show up higher soon

Remember this. Google likes to weed out the link builders by messing with your head. Leave it be and keep grinding, if you throw a ton of links to it now they'll spot the unnatural activity.

Please tell me why everytime i put new backlink(1 or many) google starts to "dance" my positions? Next day after the link appears my positions drops, then its go up, not in 1 day but a few days to go up and then my positions go higher than it was before.
I am in seo more than 7 years and as i remember google always do that and the question is why? Why it drops my rankings for some time? Is there any reason to drop my site before it comes back?
May be google thinks that this backlink can be spamy backlink and google wait for some changes, and if it see that backlink still in its place then "Its ok man, i see that its not spammy link so i will put your site to its rankings"?

Usually Google takes time up to 2-3 weeks to index the new links created. You can ping the links related to that one keyword for faster indexing, or try to create some high PR links related to it. Normally it should get ranked again.

Maybe you broke backlinks' anchor desity for this keyword?
