something is not working

hey
i am new in here. did some reading and tests according to some guys experience, but the result are pretty bad.
i have a celebrity gossip blog/website, for 6 month. he updates at least every couple of days, and most of the time i post 3,4 per a day.
all the posts are unique, and the keyword i mostly from Google trends.
i have around 50, 60 daily visitors from google and another 50, 60 from other sites. i earn 1$ for every 3 days. it sucks!!!

please, tel me what to do. what is the strategy i need to take, from step 1, to bring more traffic and earn around 4$, 5$ per a day, so i can move on to my next websites.

It sounds like you're not building links? Is that correct? You should start if you're not.

Your traffic is obviously lacking, can't make $$s if you don't have traffic.

As suggested above read up on SEO to rank your site higher on Google. Also that niche is both competitive and hard to monetize so you may want to do more research when picking the topic for your next site.

i started to build links last month, but the all thing seems mix up to me.
is there a specified guide/strategy that i can learn exactly what to do?
since step one.
how much effort put on comments, social bookmarking, the linkwheel i need to do(and don't know how) and more...

about my next website, i am still doing a research, but first i must learn how to do it the right way, so i practice on the celebrity blog:}
