Something extremely strange happened while registering a new domain.

I was trying to register a domain on Godaddy (a completely random name, with 0 chance of someone else accidentally coming up with it within the 10 min this happened), so then i decided to check it on Bluehost and Yourhosting.

Saw Godaddy was the cheapest, and went to them to register it.

Suddenly, the domain has been taken and parked by "Uniregistry Corp". Seriously what the actual fk? Its like they saw I was trying to check it up on multiple sites and it immediately got taken off. Whats going on here??

I swear that happened to me too. It suddenly changed to a "premium" domain when I finally decide to register the domain. It could be rigged.

Yes i can now buy it for 350 dollars thats what i mean, im now waiting on support because a WHOIS showed Godaddy registered it.

Shitty way to do business if true, then again, until you actually buy it they can set whatever price they like.

Maybe "domain front running" godaddy has bad name in that however you should check in whois that when it was register.

Do you see the domain created date in WHOIS ? was it on same day you tried to register ?
