First, I?m not looking for a method, I?ll figure that out. I?m looking for direction. What would you do? I?m looking for something consistent and reliable, that I may need to evolve with the times, but has a low(er) risk of becoming saturated. I?m guessing it?s something that may need a little more time to grow and money invested. Again, what would you do and why? Blogs, YouTube, cpa?s, drop shipping, amazon, etc etc?

Here?s a little background if your interested, I?ve been very successful in the past using IM to generate business for both the car and mortgage/real estate business. I messed up and went to prison a few years back for 2.5yrs. I?ve been out since February, and have been busting my butt to do everything I can for my daughter. I started with nothing, now have 3 jobs, got a car, leased a condo, and getting everything we need?along with custody of my daughter. So now that I?m fairly stable and can invest a little money, I?m looking to use IM as a means to create a more comfortable lifestyle, without working 3 jobs and being able to spend more time with my daughter.

I appreciate the discussion!

A 9 - 5 job, is the only thing I can think of.

About the only thing consistent and reliable in IM is fluctuation.

They "best" way to get a semi-reliable income is to steadily build a brand / authority site.

IM is volatile by nature. I would think there's more security in providing services such as content writing, graphic design, website design/set-up, etc. As far as SEO Services, there's always good money in ranking local businesses.

I would look into either a store and dropship/wholesale or if you can code or do graphics, look into something like that.
Good luck, its a pain getting out and getting ahead, but it sounds like you have a great start!

If you do decide to build a website (for the long-term), make sure to diversify the source of your traffic. Do not rely solely on search engine traffic. Promote in Social Networks/Offline... and so on.

I would start a Small Seo Firm - and outsource all the work - but just control the reporting function myself.

if that's too much business management/responsibility/past catching up to you

then I would do Affiliate Marketing - and create some quality sites - monetise with CJ or Amazon

those are the only 2 real solid things that come off the top of my head -- CPA can be great for a while but you have to keep inventing new things to stay on top and ClickBank I know next to nothing about how to be successful with this - that is something you see alot of people discuss.

I hope you can get that stability back that your working so hard for -- BOL.

I would think that the two most sustainable long-term ways of making money on the Internet right now would be:
1) an authority site or a platform with user-generated content where you don't need to put too much time into it once it kicks off(even BHW serves as a limited example here).
2) creating your own product which does not become obsolete fast. This may refer to producing ebooks for long-term residual income, or producing computer software people would like to use (again - not an ios game, but something which provides long-term utility).

Best of luck to you mate, and I really hope you will make a better living for you and your daughter.

I totally agree with you. I recently have gone from "consistent" (more than 2 years) 5.000 $ / month to less than 1.000 $ / month The only thing reliable here is the saying "never give up ".

I am reading the forum again for a few hours a day to decide what my next project will be. Do not ask me for my methods by pm because they are totally dead.

Thanks everyone. I was thinking along the lines of drop shipping/wholesale/online store also and then opening a physical location w/ focusing on multiple products/services that work together and benefit greatly from IM and my marketing background.
