Something better than awstats but first party?

Awstats can see all the iframed hits you get but it's not accurate enough. But things like statcounter are third party so whoever has third party turned off doesn't count. Is there what I'm looking for, preferably free?

What do you mean by "not accurate enough"? Awstats just analyzes your server log files, and for that purpose it's plenty accurate.

Comparing log file analysis to something like statcounter or ga doesn't really make sense. It's like comparing a speedometer to a tachometer.

Guys, what accounts for the vast difference in stats on log files than those in statcounter? The fact that so many browsers can't handle third party images?

I'm looking for something that tracks how long some guy is on a site. Awstats isn't even remotely detailed enough, it just gives broad info on daily stats, at least from what I see in DirectAdmin.
