Something at DP made me laugh....

LOL, the funny thing is, I've got neg repped, not once but TWICE for making this thread cited both times that it's "not funny."

Either the owners are here, or we have two Digital Point fanboys who took this thread waaaaaaaaaay too seriously.

And, just to clear the air, I'm not mad about getting neg repped, I'm mad because there are 2 Jr. VIPS/Donors/Exec VIP that are DP fanboys.

Here are both the neg rep comments, very similar and given within an hour of eachother:
"its not funny, you idiot"
"NOT FUNNY BIATCH!"

PS: I'm sorry that you DP fanboys were used to cookie stuff and the owners milked 20 MILLION dollars off of you. I don't know how you can sit here and attack me when you should be mad at DP owners. Here is a perfect picture for you guys so maybe you can find a little light in all of this. And this pretty much explains why they (Digital Point) got caught.

I don't see how it's not funny, that as internet marketers, DP is pushing new advertising because they can't get away with defrauding eBay anymore.

DP, probably the most visited IM site (unfortunatley), still has no idea how to legit make money. And on top of that, any money they do make (up to the tune of 20 mill) will just go to eBay anyway.

I mean, in literal terms, I guess I didn't "LOL" per se, however, it did put a smile on my face given the shit that they are in right now.

I don't visit DP because I don't think it is worth to spare the time there. But I don't hate them either.

If you think that DP is shit then just don't visit it and save your time, isn't that simple?

1) I laughed
2) The +reps I've gotten outweighs the -reps (not that it matters anyway).
3) I've had people PMing me and posting about how shitty DP is. (not that we already don't know)
4) Provide you fellow BHWers with my breakdown on how DP is going right now.
5) Unfortunatley, this thread proves that there are some "s3r10uz" DP fanboys on BHW

And Digital Point, a site traditionally known for internet marketing, is only now trying to sell ad space because they can't defraud eBay anymore. Furthermore, any money they do make with these CPM or CPC ads will go to eBay anyway.

You're right, the popup itself isn't funny at all, but when you look at the underlying meaning, and causation, it's pretty funny. Instead of trying to use the thought process and seek the underlying meaning, you guys jump at any conclusion just to bash me/post it's not funny (to sound cool). At least the people who -repped me knew what I was talking about.

there's more posts about you defending the idea than there is of you and other people enjoying it? doesn't really matter about the rep you received when you sound like a dickhead laughing at others misfortune in your posts. i dunno seems like a back fire to me.

LOL, First of all, only I am a dickhead because I laugh at others misfortunes? Here's a thread just published a few weeks ago on the same matter with 85 posts bashing DP. On top of this thread, theres an enormous amount of hacks at DP on this forum everyday.

Secondly, "I laugh at others misfortunes" Digital Point defrauded eBay 20 million dollars. They are soon-to-be felons. I'm all up for blackhat SEO techniques, but these scum bags get what they deserve, nothing less.

On top of that, why should the Digital Point owners get any sort of sympathy for what they did? What they did about what's equivalent to robbing a bank fourty times over. Why is it okay that when they get caught, it's a "misfortune"?

Furthermore, with your argument in hand, would you defend a person that got caught watching child pornography and getting made fun of, citing that, "You look like a dickhead laughing at their misfortune." You may say I'm crazy, but you're crazy because according to your arguement, people aren't allowed to make fun of felons because, "It's not right to laugh at others misfortunes." This isn't kindegarten stuff they did, they committed a crime and now they have to face the time and receive the consequences. And one of them consequences, like in most crimes, is public ridicule.

Actually DP was profitable before cookie stuffing. Not sure what all the hatred all about. DP is a pile of shit but Shawn himself achieved more than 99% of us here. It's a shame he got caught. If I had an opportunity I'd also fuck me members for a few million and then I'd fuck them some more. Inhouse advertisement program is a logical step every website is striving to but simply can't achieve due to scale. The objective is always to cut the middle man out. Do you how big Google's cut is? DP never had a shortage of Adsense advertisers. It's all about maximizing the revenue by cutting that middle man out. On top of that you are improving your liquidity and all the money goes to you straight away instead of having to wait for a month. If I had the scale I would do the same as well for each and every one of my websites regardless of my present, past or expected financial situation. No offence but it has nothing to do with DP being a pile of shit or Shawn being caught for stuffing.
