I was planning on doing the exact same thing. I had my site setup and ready to go. I got a Cease and Desist order from the HBO attorneys yesterday, and then today my VPS provider shut down my site because they got the same notice. Shame, I was going to make a killing off this. The big players never want anyone else to make any money.

Haha what idiot's, all those sites are hosted on US servers and registered with US registrars.

One of the sites is hosted with Namecheap hosting lol.

If these guys got some offshore hosting setup in Romania or even used Cloudflare they would of had more a chance.

I think I'd rather stick with doing something of lower risk than the fight. The NBA stuff isn't a bad idea considering the playoffs are going on right now. If you were to use offshore hosting, could you possibly use this method for the fight without getting caught?
