I have a friend that runs an online store. She just received an email from someone in Australia that did not purchase her product online but wants to have his shipping company pick up the product direct from her.

I remember their being a scam a while back on people using strange shipping companies to pick up products, but cannot remember the details, and cannot find info online.

Does any one have any suggestions on a better way to deliver. I just told her to tell them that they ship , and the order has to be done online like everyone else.

Total scam!

Do NOT allow customer pickup in this instance!

Its probably a cashiers check scam. They send a cashiers check and the seller cashes it, then the buyer acts like something went wrong and wants a refund. The seller sends him/her the money back and then the fake cashiers check bounces leaving the seller responsible to pay for it.
