Someone try to hack my yahoo email ?

Helo friends... today i receive this email and look is from yahoo... and if i copy link adress from the email is " https://login.yahoo.com/account/activity " but i dont click on it.

Someone try to acces my yahoo mail ? ip is from indonesia i see... is not my country.

My password on yahoo mail is unique and i dont use it on another sites. I need to change my password?

Yea, it's from Yahoo, it's a valid email address of theirs. Enable 2FA to be on the safe side, but if you don't use this password anywhere else, more than likely, you're safe without doing anything.

Email is legit. But someone still has your password. Change it. Even if you password is unique, Yahoo! has been hacked in the past, maybe it happened again, in your case, if you think there's no way someone else couldn't have known it.

Type in "[email protected]" into google to see if it's listed anywhere. (use the quotes in search)

Btw, Chrome has a cool new feature, if you let it save your passwords. When you login to any account of yours with an email + password, which was compromised before, Chrome prompts you to review/change the password and after a short process, Chrome gives you a list of sites, where you use an unsafe/compromised email + password combo. Google must have a huge database with all the known leaks/hacks (maybe from haveibeenpwned) and they're working from that.

Someone is interested in accessing mail. Password change is an appropriate precaution.
