Putting flyers in mailboxes in the U.S. are a big no-no, not sure about the rules in France. The USPS wants their share.

I wonder if someone already tried to put flyers/business cards on cars in a shopping center and into mail boxes in your area.
If someone tried this, please share your results.

I am ordering flyers to advertise on specific points to get the niche I look for.
What is your niche? If it is public in general then putting on cars may be an option.

I'm selling Web design and SEO.
Ok for the mail boxes, i don't know hot it goes in french i won't do this.

There is a trick to mails. You cant touch them at all or its a federal offense, but if you know a mailman, or can find out who is the mail man in certain areas for 50$ a day he will put your flyers in mailboxes with other stuff he has to deliver. Its a win win situation.

dude i live in the US, random people put in menu's/grocery store coupon newspaper things/ and a whole bunch of other stuff at my door.
come to think of it ive never found anything not mailed in my mailbox, but underneath the door, stuck in the door handle, on the porch. people put stuff all over the place!
PS in the mailbox there's spam like "dear neighbor, ....." advertisements for dentists, churches, other local stuff

It's been done. and it works there were some old threads here that did it and got good results is i remember correctly.

Are you sure? People here in western Europe do it all the time, they send sales letters and "test our products" forms even though you've never been in contact with them.
I'd say, don't waste your time doing it. Gather a few kids, pay them a few bucks and they'll happily do it (just look out so you don't get scammed by the kids
).

Putting flyers on cars at a grocery store or A Wal-mart could be a good idea!
I'd say making a nice designed flyer, attach your business card and your good.
You never know if you'll get a call from someone who knows a business or company
who needs marketing or design help etc.
I may try this, hire some college students or highschool kids to do it. Worth a shot!

There are better ways to offer your flyers to clients, its simple man. Think about Ebay, and ebay sellers...Power ON your Brain!!!

He's not talking about "sending" anything to their mailbox. He's saying he would physically put the flyer into the person's mailbox himself. In the USA that's a big offense

I believe it's the offer, you need to test different products. I know this because I personally fall for such things, like get this for free and pay only for shipping, but I then cancel the subscription. Some stuff are worth it. But lately a company tried to do some sort of trick on me, so look for legit companies too.
