Someone stole our ad creative and is running ads with it

Hey guys,

Our ad creatives got stolen, another advertiser is using it to run their own TikTok ads. Will this affect our account and my ads performance in any way? I already messaged them but he refused to take it down and said he doesn’t care.

Looks like TikTok hasn’t flagged it yet. Is there any official way to report this kind of infringement?

TikTok does have an official process for reporting intellectual property infringement. You can submit a complaint through their Intellectual Property Protection page here:

https://www.tiktok.com/legal/report/complaint/IP

Make sure to provide clear evidence that the creative belongs to you, such as original files, timestamps, or copyright info.

sometimes you can't do anything, Tiktok' policy is so dumb. You can try to report but dont expect much
 
Please complain through the link of the members provided but also do something, if you can get some group of people to do mass reporting on the persons account, Tiktok will ban that account

You should be fine on performance, but definitely file an IP infringement report with TikTok. They usually take action if you submit proof you own the creative.
 
its been more than 1 week. have you managed to report the ad, and if so what did tiktok say about that?
 
lmao I used to do this to test products all the time, it sucks but its a part of the game
 
It will saturate your ad creative faster

Save your original files as proof and report it through TikTok’s IP infringement form. That’s the only solid way to get their ads taken down.
