Someone scammed me

There's nothing wrong with telegram, a really useful tool for fast communications, you just have to be aware of the risks, I don't support banning the platform outright, instead require that final payments be confirmed via PM, for example after everything is discussed you just PM him saying "I am selling this product /service for this amount, here is the payment wallet"

Many of them refuse to communicate on BHW, so it's sometimes hard to fulfill the criteria of "initiated conversation on BHW"

I just saw recently a comment by a MOD here in BHW that "initiated conversation on BHW" doesn't mean just contacting them via Private message, if you responded to one of their threads and they directed you to their telegram, this means the conversation was actually initiated/started here in BHW
