You can manage some downvotes for that comment. If the comment's vote count becomes negative, it will drop far down and disappear from view.

On Reddit, you can only delete a comment if it violates the policy. You can report the comment as spam, defamatory, or inappropriate for the Reddit team to review and take action.

You can delete your own comment by clicking “delete” under it. For someone else’s comment, report it to Reddit for defamation; mods can remove it if it violates rules.
