Someone is Writing In my Account???

Hello I have a problem with my account within BHW.

I checked my mail today and I found some strange conversations and I figured out, that some other guy wrote to many people messages within my account. I am not sure if he found out my pw or something or it is a problem from this forums site and he got access from it in some way. Hope you can help me out there. Never had this before.

First off, change your password and the e-mail associated with your account.

Next, enable two-step verification to prevent other people from "easily" accessing your account in the future.

After that, message all of the people that the other guy messaged and explain to them that it wasn't you who sent the messages.

I sent in a request to have an admin look into your account as I'm unable to thoroughly do so.

OP, did you by any chance post this thread yesterday? It was the only thread posted by a different IP address than the one you normally use (the IP was an American business IP as opposed to your German IP).

Additionally, the Skype account in that post (Prime Checker) is different than the Skype account you use (primechecker).

yes it is definitely someone else. Not sure if I got hacked. Never I got hacked before in my life. Would be good, if some admin can check what happened. I did not post the thread. This was someone else.

Thanks for confirming.

I sent the info to the admins via report and I also sent in a request to have that MachTv thread deleted since whoever hacked you was using it to lure others to that phoney Skype account.

I also reported the hacker's Skype account for abuse on Skype.

Follow the directions in my first post and secure your account as soon as possible.

Ok I changed my pw now. Hopefully this will end now the account abuse. I think the guy got the pw from another shady site, where I used the same pw or so.

We've deleted the thread that looks like it was created by the hacker now. It doesn't look like any other threads or comments were posted that aren't yours, but if you find any then report them so we can delete them.

@primechecker Don't forget to enable two-step verification as @Zwielicht said - it goes a long way to keeping your account safe.
