Someone is spamming my domain!

Some months ago, I registered an expired domain and just made it a single paged one in order to be indexed and develop it later. The name is great, it is a 2 word meaningful domain that actually means something catchy. The thing is, that I noticed some spam going on towards my domain and the result is a CF of 10 and TF of 0.
I don't have any competitors as of course my domain did not rank anywhere, just indexed. My question is why would someone do negative SEO to a harmless one paged website? Just to make the domain loose value? Seems so weird.

Can be the previous owner but it's really weird.
Go with Google's disavow Tool to make this links useless:

could be someone who knows what your domain is about and is spamming it on autopilot. there's people that spend 50% of their day doing that to websites in their niche

It's hard to tell who could be doing this but it could be someone who knows about your domain or a previous owner of the domain. I personally would use Google's disavow tool.
