Hi there. Someone is copying my articles from my WP blog. I contacted their hosting company and they didn't approve my requests to warn them. My articles are mostly on Facebook, so I asked them to take action against the domain and page that's copying my articles but they say they can't know if that article is mine or not. So I decided to install plugins to disable right click, ctrl+c. But they still able to copy them. I suppose they're using Chrome's inspect tool to extract the text or other online tools to do so. What's the best if not 100%, to protect my texts from getting copied? Please suggest me. Thank you

Ignore if its a spam site, file dmca complain if it's not and stealing your traffic.
 
It depends. Are they using a bot to copy? If yes, enable cloudflare under attack mode. This is not bulletproof but it will get harder for them to copy. Note that the under attack mode may ruin your seo though.

It is manually copied? Then you can't do much. You can try to send DMCA to google or facebook and hope they get removed.
 
You can try to do what I did (only works if they use your feed to automatically copy your articles). You can easily test it, post a blank page/post and see if it gets copied.
If they copy even blank posts then... post a blank page, they copy, you add your article and post it. So they will have a blank page whereas you'll have your article.

Also, it's not that hard to know who posted first.
 
Keep doing your complain, try contct their host too. give proof it's yours.
honestly i doubt you will get any result without sue him for real and spend $$$ for it.
 
Try some thin content or filler (lorem ipsum, or no meaningful content) with noindex google bot and nofollow to this kind links. Just to distinguish the suspect.
Track the IP address by logging system tool, gather & block them.
Maybe it will help a bit.
 
Research about DMCA and how it works.

It will give you some clues about what to do next.
 
if they are using a bot, you are lucky. Otherwise you must move your complain to dmca
 
get your content copy righted. hosting companies never care for these issues. expose hosting cmpany and tell them you will give them negative reviews.
 
Type your naked url somewhere in your post (in the middle).

Even if it's not a bot they won't notice when copy pasting everything. So they publish the article with a sentence like: "This post was taken from *naked url*". This way you can prove to the hosting guys that it's copied content.

In case it's a bot, find the user agent in your hosting logs. Awstats has a list of robots that visit your site. Block them all in robots.txt. Sartre has an example posted on the forum.
 
You said "My articles are mostly on Facebook", Do they copy article from Facebook from your posts or your website?
 
Start with DMCA, are his pages outranking you on Google? If not, it's less of a problem.
 
I don't understand it.

What do you mean most on Facebook? I think Google also index Facebook articles but not 100% right? So if your article indexed first by your stealer, then I think its tricky to file DMCA or whatever, Google may think they are the original writer.
