Someone is cloaking my website, what's the solution??

Hi,

I am having an issue regarding my website. A hacker is hacking authority websites and using a code to crawl my website content. And now result is that hacked website that using my website's content and authority is out ranking my website. Question is how can I prevent this technique, any code that prevents my website from cloaking.

Your input will be highly appreciated. David

You can enable hot link protection to secure your media or images for being theft or linked on other sites. About the content, if Google indexed your site first, then his cloaked site should bear plagiarism penalty.

Thanks for your input. The main issue is with the content as websites on which my website is uploaded or cloaked are very authority sites like edu or org sites. He is using the code that directs google to grab content from my website and the hacked site is replacing my position in SERP or outranking me big time. It wont go under any kind of penalty. Any solution??

You don't need to worry about your content. Anyways you write it first right ?

negative seo will start a new war...i need to get a proper solution.
 
The best thing you can do is to try to get your content indexed first. Increase authority and ping your links as soon as the content is posted.

It won`t work. If Google thinks that other site has more authority/trust then it will index quicker. Also other site can rank higher with that (exact same) content. Depending the location of the other site`s server you can always try DMCA.

Is he scrapping the content and updating on his site with same or rewritten content. He was outranking for long time many be for sometime Google will dance and it will dropped to lower position.
 
Perhaps place lots of internal links to your site within all of your articles, and maybe even put a sentence at the end saying "this content was published on yoursite.com first. Hell you might as well load your content with affiliate links and let the hackers make you some cash$. Come to think of it, maybe you should scrape thousands of articles from all over the net, put your aff.links into them and let the hackers make you some serious dough.
 
Check you logs and see if you can identify his IP, block all bad bots and scrappers with htaccess.
If you really want to be sneaky you can redirect all his access attempts to a crap/spam/porn site.
 
Actually I think you are getting crappy bs advice. You are in big trouble. "Your content first" is nice but not great advice. If they can do what they are doing they can certainly use a spinner. If they dont they can still outrank you. What is worse is if they link their currently ranking site to their next site to slip in...you are screwed all over. Take screenshots/record the backend code proof may help. If you do a search for past 24 hours with some portions on their site bet you find cloaked sites that popped up all over the net linking back..were indexed...then dissappeared... Hope thats not it but seen that BS for years. There are things little discussed on this forum about such things. Hate to say it but you may want to constantly report the events you discover to G. Not that they really give a sh^^ about you.

This solution seems much better. Could you guide or mention some article to block bots and scrappers.
