Someone is attacking my site. Need Help!

In the past several days, I see that someone is trying to take my site down by typing the same keyword and rack up page views for my site. The stats of the site indicate that I have 300+ searches daily for that keyword but in fact my ranking is #9 (3300 exact searches a month) on Google.

Will this affect my serps on google by any chance?

How can I stop this from happening?

Need help from you guys.

This shouldn't affect your ranking (don't see how it could). Can you ban the IP in iptables or something like that?
 
I don't see how 300+ hits per day would take any site down unless its hosted in low quality free hosting and it doesn't affect to your rankings so don't worry too much. You can simple use .htaccess file to block the IP. If you are using WP there are many plugins allowing you to block users by ip.
 
I don't think that is a problem, sounds like the keyword is getting more popular.
 
doesnt sound like a google issue to me.. views are views.. very rarely considered negatively
 
Check the ip to see where the hits are coming from..Is there a referral for the hits or is it random?

I'm currently using blogger or blogspot platform. Do you have how I can block it using this platform?

How can you track ip searches through your stat page? All I can see is the redirect link from Google. I'm using blogger (blogspot) platform btw
 
If its Blogger, Google aren't going to take down your site because someone is visiting your site from a keyword search. Do you have Google analytics installed? Are you sure this is one person?

Then you probably can't do that, my suggestion was good in case you had your own server or VPS.
