Do you earn with pop (optimized) traffic? I mean, filtered with voluum, filtered by intent, browser, etc.
It's possible to get positive ROI with 1-2-3-4k clicks?

Those number of clicks are not enough even for testing.
 
Yes, but only in very specific, high-margin verticals (e.g., sweepstakes, nutra, certain software installs) and with extreme filtering. You need to eliminate bot and irrelevant geo traffic aggressively and direct the remaining clicks to a perfectly optimized, high-converting funnel. At that volume, even a slight positive ROI is a success; it's a volume game.
 
Pop is still a goldmine for Sweepstakes and iGaming, but with 4k clicks you're mostly just collecting data. You'll likely need to burn through 10k-20k clicks just to build a solid blacklist before you see a positive ROI.

  • Voluum rules (zones, frequency, day/hour)
  • Intent (adult vs mainstream, utility vs content)
  • Browser / OS (huge for pops)
  • GEO + carrier consistency
  • Fast lander or direct link (pops hate slow funnels)
 
with medium traffic impossible but possible with good external traffic.

I stopped using pop ads a long time ago, even though they generated stable income. However, they often annoyed users, so I switched to another platform.

I’m still learning, but from what I see yes, it’s possible, but not easy.
With pop traffic, most of it is low intent, so filtering (GEO, device, browser, etc.) is everything. Without that, ROI is usually negative.
 
Yes, people do earn with optimized pop traffic, but it’s rarely instant. With 1–4k clicks, you’re usually still testing angles like creatives, landing pages, and targeting filters (browser, OS, GEO, etc.). Positive ROI at that stage is possible, but not very common unless everything aligns well. Most campaigns need more data and gradual optimization before they become consistently profitable.
