CloudFlare is a http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Content_delivery_network and distributed http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Domain_name_server service marketed as improving website performance and speed and providing security. CloudFlare has both free and paid services. CloudFlare received media attention, not all of it positive, after providing security tohttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LulzSec's website. The Turkish government has also used CloudFlare.

Thanks for the info,
BTW, i need solution for this "Ddos"

Do you host your own server or is it on a hosting plan? If you host your own server, then you can check with your isp to see if they have a DOS prevention service of some sort. Also, you can get a router or firewall that has the capability to prevent these types of attacks. Either on or the other.

If your server is being hosted by someone else like hostgator for example, you will need to contact them, they should have some mechanism in place to prevent this.

yh contact ur hosting provider and ask them for solutions to DDOS atttacks

i asked them, everytime their answer is "we did our part"

can you suggest any hosting which has good ddos protection?

i'm planing to get.
1. dedicated ip.
2. new business hosting from namecheap
3. good ssl maybe geotrust

do you think this will help me?

Try this site: sitelock.com/how-it-works.php. You can also search or ways to stop DDOS on your site. I work as a support tech for a company who supports florists. Once a florist had a DDOS attack on their network. I resolved it by disabling the the ability to ping the router, and the attacks seemed to stop after that, if that helps any.

Along with CloudFlare, you should also learn how to mitigate DDoS attacks. CloudFlare only hides the real IP address which can easily be found.

Install incapsula.com now. This is your solution.

redirect the nameserver and use cloudflare.

Also, contact the host and let them know about this issue.

Use Liquidweb hosting or Firehost. They have tools to prevent this kind of attacks!

Use htaccess to block known spam countries (China, Russia, India, Pakistan, etc.) if your target market is the English speaking market. If you reside in one of these countries, create an exclusion in htaccess for yourself. The aforementioned countries are known to be bandwidth hogs and tire kickers (they don't buy or click on shit).

Good luck

i had a heavy ddos on time from blackmailer. they had a pretty decet botnet to destroy the reachability of my site. i used the service of blacklotus to defend the attack.
