Things is, they probably didn't build those in one month. Also, it's betting niche, did you check the actual forums? Some of those can be real links (especially if they have referral program)
If you build 1K links one month, then 0 the next, then 0 again, then big G will get suspicious

I've been working for a month now, but I haven't gotten a good ranking yet.

My ranking is 50~60

when I analyze the site on page 1 of this keyword, UR and DR are worse than me.

But why don't I go up in the ranks?

UR and DR are 3rd party metrics, google doesn't look at those metrics

Write As many long tail kw supporting posts as it takes to rank. Start with the ones that show a search count. Then even do the ones that show zero searches. This is because google hides a lot of info. The thing is if you cant rank for the long tail kws then you dont deserve the main kw. I have done this many times an it works.

I know but other sites, they would check their info in Ahrefs, 3rd party metircs so i know its not absolute but isn't it better to check and compare with the competitors?

Not necessarily, but your new backlinks need to somehow correspond to previous months. However, you just went from 0 to 1.5k so that's fishy as it is, at this point I am actually unsure if it's better to continue with links or not do anything else. Someone with more experience could chip in, but I am fairly certain it wasn't a great idea to go to 1.5k directly.

OP, metrics are insignificant for ranking. Quality backlink profile is not determined by metrics, it's determined by judgement. That's why metric manipulation is possible and easily accessible.
