I was looking at my backlinks today and noticed a couple of autoblogs were using my autoblog's dupe content RSS. :) Should I do anything about it? Is this going to give me easy backlinks?

btw, I noticed that none of my articles linking to my site on Articlesbase were showing up on yahoo site explorer or Google. I've pinged them a bunch of times but nothing. how do I get them to show up?

LOL

If they're not linking to you on their site, then you don't get any backlinks. Stealing the RSS feed doesn't count. I would either ban their IPs so you don't end up competing to rank for the same content, or put links in your content so hopefully they steal and post those links along with each article.

That is nothing.

I also got a "cease & desist" mail from an autoblog!

Modify your rss feed and put ads in it ;)

Boooooom you earn tons of money ;)

In the name of our brotherhood(we are AutoBloggers :D ) let them do it easily. Put quality content, so that can earn good.....lol

Welcome to autoblogging world lol, just edit your rss feed, make it short, link tags in your post using a plugin like simple tags, this way you'll get some good keyword back links, and do not set adsense in your feed this may get you some trouble .

Doesn't google have Adsense For RSS?

Enough of this banning IPs and stuff. Just try and make as many references to your own site in the feeds. Some of you lot sound like that whining Rupert Murdock.

As someone pointed out though, the only thing worse than being indexed by google, is not being indexed by google. Think of it as a sign that you have arrived ... no really. If they found your RSS feed, then your blog must be doing OK, in terms of visibility.

well, not if they use google alerts to find their content. I find some stuff that way that will never be found in any other way, i assume.

@mgs and why not adsense in feeds?

I think it's not a sin using a RSS from other blog/autoblog

So you complain because somebody is stealing the content you are stealing from somebody else?
