Here are some tips on how to use Quora effectively :

Creating Accounts:

Registration is easy, you have to confirm the mail to start using the account. You should explore all features in account settings. Like Quora even lets you edit the name (Let me know if you knew this in comments). These days they are having IP check as well. If you login from IP of a new country, you are asked to confirm on mail.

Answering Questions :

Not all duplicate answers are collapsed. Those with links from new profiles often get collapsed. Try changing some words, link structure or a new profile and it should stick.

Ranking of answers :

You can see details here: https://www.quora.com/How-does-the-ranking-of-answers-on-Quora-work

Some people think that it is just the number of upvotes but it also depends on other factors. Some of the important ones are the profile answering the question and profiles doing the upvotes.

Got specific questions ? Let us discuss in comments.

Thanks for the tips. How much traffic we can expect from quora? I mean, Is it doable to get 1000 visitors per day from quora?

How to get our answer stick on the top? And how to determine which question will bring us lots of traffic.

Thanks

1) Yes, it is. Tested.
2) Answered in OP.
3) Nice question. Search for queries related to your niche on Google and see Quora answers ranking. Answer those. Is this enough ?

I have read view quora guides, I even planned to use bot for quora marketing. Some people said we should focus on most recent question (a lot of people ask same question over and over) What do you think? Should we focus on recent question or the one which already ranks on page one which sometime tricky to find.

Thanks for the tips bro.

Great expository. Thanks for the tips. I will be looking at trying some of them in a few. I think Quora is the largest forum out there at the moment? Or Reddit?

Use quora like a social networking site. Install quora app in phone and try to answer on your relavent field. It’s improved your effectiveness and profile authority.

I've tested both options and come up to a conclusion that it's not worth to answer the questions that have less than 100 views (you can see that in the right bar in the "question stats" section) or have over 50 quality answers (because it's really hard to get to the top)

Try both and see what gives better ROI. With recent , there is less competition.

I have not tried Reddit much. So cannot compare.

Nice idea. Good profiles with nice stats can be sold for good money as well.

Can you make good money from Quora? I have an account that seems to get one follower a day but I've never used it.

Yes, you can. There are different methods shared here using Quora. Search and use.

Thanks for the tips, I'm really glad you opened this thread! :D

I have a question as well: I used to answer lots of questions on Quora to promote my dropshipping website. In order to answer I just copied articles from Google and I actually got upvoted and even made few sales. The problem was Quora found it (or someone reported) and I got a temporary ban, then a ban forever not to mention they deleted my answers and my rating as well (I was most viewed writer).

How can I answer as many questions without creating them myself and still not to get a ban? I opened a new account for now from the same IP and computer, will they ban this one too?

Thanks again! :)

Great share OP, it's a quality source of traffic :-)

Are you able to connect Quora accounts to Facebook pages or groups? I want to connect to my company page, but don't think it's possible?

These are very useful tips when it comes to Quora. I really do not use it that much though. Who has all had much success with this?

Spin the text. Or if you want to be more complex to ensure uniqueness.. copy the text, spin it, translate it to another language, then translate it back to English(it will give you a different output). Hope that helps.

I have, I used to use it in the past for traffic and got pretty decent results. More over it was targeted traffic so it converted well. I used software to automate alot of it, because it gets a bit tedious after a while.

Are you speaking from experience? Because I tried just switching paragraphs, and translating to another language will make the English look bad.
What kind of software did you use? You never got banned?

Didn't you read the post? I stated that I used to use it in the past, but have since moved on to other traffic methods. Which language did you translate it to? Different languages will convert it back better, but you should still proof read it to make sure it sounds the way you want it to. No, I never got banned doing it but I was doing it with multiple accounts and the bot uses proxies. Mix answer with links and answers without links to stay off the radar.
