Some suggestions close the registration

Iv some suggestions to the forum

-Close the free signup and keep forum open for all to read without registration
-Make new registration fees 1-5$ normal membership
-Every new user cant open or reply before passes 24 hrs from registration date to stop spam
Jrvip has 3 invitation per year to send for new users .
 
Advertise on BHW
Make new registration fees $1 sounds like a Nice Idea to be Considered!
In order to stop or filter the spammers Entry to BHW.

Its nice idea to make BHW new registration paid. But I dont think, DD will do it. It will drop the registration rate by 80 to 90%.

Second option of limiting the posting after registration need to be implemented.

Plus invite thing is useless in my opinion unless, its invite only forum.
 
I agree with 5 dollars one time registration fee.
 
Pay for membership? Why? If it's to prevent scammers, I don't see the point, because I find it hard to believe that they take up such a huge percentage of  active users. So a lot of people suffer for a minority, especially when you consider that not everywhere is Western Europe or North America (and Australia).

I can understand the 24 hour wait though, I wouldn't mind seeing that in place.
 
It would definitely improve the overall quality of the forum.

The pointless content which offers absolutely no value, like the 1 sentence regurgiated replies from new members, is pretty damn annoying.

Charging $5-$10 would at least put a little barrirer in place and keep the community tidier.

I'm all for it.
 
Nice way to kill this forum...in the short term it wouldn't affect it, but in the long run it would result in much less activity, much less users, much less posts = less organic traffic

Scammers also won't see any problem in paying this $1 fee knowing they will be able to scam people for hundreds of dollars, it's a good ROI for them
 
The only reason there are so many Jr VIP is that there are but load more free users that can engage with BSTs and around the forum.
I wouldn't add payment requirement because I feel that the problems this will cause outweigh the bots we have today.
