    Hi all,
Is it too late to say happy new year now? Oh well, happy new year!

I have a couple of random questions I was hoping to get some thoughts on...

    1) Curious about sites like Whistleout, or other sites that give comparisons for cell phone plans or credit cards or insurance or internet plans, etc.
It seems to me they make their money via referrals. E.g. you compare on their site a bunch of cell phone plans from different carriers, you select a phone/plan, get sent to the carriers web site, if they sign up you make a small % or get a flat $.

This doesn't seem overly hard, and seems mostly automated in some senses. Just wondering if anyone here has done anything similar before and what your experiences were. Personally Im not sure that this is something I want to do, I'm more curious about it. I'm in Australia, and I see a number of these ones (particularly for home loans/mortgages) even advertised on TV!

    2) I was thinking of a blog idea. It would potentially be a niche in the fitness area. This would be legit and not blackhat.
    a) I have a unique take on a particular aspect of fitness, but I am not a qualified expert. Im not a trainer, I dont have a degree, I dont own a gym. Do you think this matters? A lot of people I follow in this industry doing blogs are all experts in some way.

    b) Within this niche I feel like there is a crossover to other aspects of life. I am wondering if it makes sense to have a fitness/health blog that then has content for other topics... even though there is a connection, these topics arent in fitness/health themselves. Or is it better to leave that out and only focus on fitness/health? Or should I make it more of a lifestyle thing, thereby combining fitness/health and other random things, but not specialising?
    Hope that makes sense!

    c) Posting content with referrals - just wondering if every post I make should link to a referral, or only a selection, thereby making it perhaps a bit more legitimate?

    3) Has anyone here done any Amazon affiliate work in a mobile app? E.g. in your app you have links to Amazon products with your referral links. How did you find this? Did it work out ok for you?

Thanks for any and all comments and thoughts :D
