Hey BHW !

So i am planing on buying a domain. Which will be my second one . For the first i bought the domain (for 1$) from godaddy and hosting(for 1$) from fatcow .Both were for a year. After 2 months i had do pay the transfer fee (12?). I would like to know if i could get a domain + hosting for quite cheap. Or could i get domain from godaddy and use free hosting without paying any transfer fees.

I don't understand why did you *had* to transfer?

You can register the domain at Godaddy, or any other registrar, and host it elsewhere - just setup the nameservers at your registrar to those of your hosting provider.
Actually, it is strongly recommendable to register in one place and host in another. In case of issues with the hosting, you can more easily move to another one, and not risk so much losing the domain.

I'm not sure what you trying to say exactly , but if you want to change hosting all what you need to do is change your namespaces of the new hosting servers !
