Hey all
I have a few questions I hope someone can settle them for me:

1. Right now I'm using google Keyword tool to check search volume
Using "global, exact, English" parameters - is that the way
To go if I target global English speaking niche? can local parameter
help me somehow or it just to target specific countries?

2. Is google keyword tool the most accurate tool to check
Google search volumes? (kinda stupid but I gotta ask)

3. When I'm checking top 10 on page seo sometimes the keyword
Which they use for the title for example differs with the keyword
By just one letter (like singular/plural difference) does that mean
They have on page seo for that keyword or not?

thanks

#1 Yes

#2 Yes

#3 Not just singular or plural difference, if you optimize your site for say "advantages of something" google may also display your site for "benefits of something". Google is getting smarter by the day and you can also find your site ranking for exact synonyms of your keyword.

1. Local parameter also can help you, if they use English keyword for searching desirable websites.
2. google keyword tool is the best and most accurate tool to check Google search volumes. I am also using it.
3. Yes, most of the websites are optimize for singular/plural keywords.

First thing, Google Adwords keyword gives you data for paid listing (e.g competition tab denotes number of webmaster bidding for that keyword etc.)

Adwords tool is pretty fine for a light research, but for a thorough research you have to use some advanced tool like 'Keyword Country'... Its gives you a good estimate about the profitability of the keyword.
