Hello everyone.
I have some questions for which I can't find answers by searching. And I think these are enough to make a thread. I'm a newbie, so I'd appreciate any insight.
1. Do youtube description and comment backlinks affect SEO at all? After doing some searching, I think they are no-follow, but I saw a guy claiming that he ranked his site using mostly YT backlinks.
2. I added a CPA site to my Google Webmaster account, which got a major spam warning and got deindexed. Is it safe to keep using that account, remove the spam site and add a new one?
3. I'm using an affiliate link (inside article) that google doesn't like. I'm thinking about using another domain, lead users to that domain where I put the aff link.
But I'm afraid Google also track that second domain, link back to the first. So is there any way to prevent Google from following to the 2nd domain?
I read about using robot.txt or php redirect to stop google crawler but have no idea if they work or how to use them. If I can cloak my link/block google crawler, using another domain won't be necessary.
