HI I've been reading journeys here for a long time and finally decided to join up so hopefully I can get some help with some Questions I have before starting my journey thread.

I'm considering entering a niche with 1k monthly search main keywords and a handful of 500ish MS longtails. I'm planning on going the amazon route,

I'm curious how do you estimate potential profits?
    I think some factors are:
    - Assuming I manage to rank #1, then around 30% CTR from google,
    - 4% amazon commission off of my product choice (around 100$ average)
    - of the 30% that visit my site, the % that will actually click throught to amazon? the % that will actually buy?

does anyone have an equation/method they use to get an estimate of profits? I don't mean exact estimate but just a rough idea .those more experienced must have some idea of how much they can make before entering a niche?
I'd just like to plan for example how much I should spend on PBN based on how much ROI could be.

Another thing I need to figure out is how do these new search snippets on google work?

I see a site in my niche on page 1, not top spot though, but it's in the snippet at the top, so even if i outrank it it might still get more CTR from google? Is there a type of content to produce or SEO to get into the snippet?

    one last question if anyone can telll me;

I want to create a category on my site like "guides" or "tips & tricks" that aren't actually reviews just to beef up the content, and provide some pages I could have guest posts too from relevant sites that actually provide value by sharing my content. But I wonder will that past the juice onto my other pages?
for example if I have mysite.com/myproduct-review, and these links are on the sidebar of every page,
since the guestpost would link to mysite.com/some-DIY-guide and that page links back to product review would the juice soak through all the pages so to speak?

thanks for any help!! and sorry for the wall of text

You're putting the cart before the horse here. No one can answer this question with any kind of accuracy if you're not getting traffic to a website. Just make your site, get some traffic to it, then worry about optimizing your conversion rate.

    Read this: https://developers.google.com/search/docs/guides/mark-up-content

It honestly might be more trouble than it's worth to implement that though if you don't know how.

I'm not really an expert on this kind of thing, so maybe someone else can chime in.

thanks for the helpful reply and link.
I think it'd be pretty great CTR dominating top two visible areas (snippet and first place rank) for best xxx keyword so I'm going to try.
Still wondering about the link juice question, and I think I've seen someone in their amazon journey thread saying they manage to get an idea roughly of earning potential based on some of the factors I mentioned can't find it though.
