I started with youtube like 2 years ago. Managed to get partnership with "Union for Gamers" but it seems they are ripping me off. I am getting like 1 USD for 1k views...
It has been a passive income for a year now getting about 5 dollar a month (not much). I want to increase this so the first step would be to leave my current network.

Which network offers the highest profit per viewer?
I have mostly gaming videos so many networks do not apply right? (back in the day you could only join gaming networks to make money off youtube if you upload gaming videos, has this changed?)

    Now in terms of SEO...
I want to go for another niche (non-gaming). Should I start a new channel or use the ranking of my current channel to get more viewers (excluding subscribers). The succes of previous videos influence the succes of new videos right? The niche I am currently in is not very specific: I might do a gameplay of a FPS game and the next video might be a guide for a RPG game for example.

    So to sum it up:
What are some profitable youtube networks (non-gaming/gaming)?
Is it better to start from the ground up if you are trying to reach a new niche?

    Thanks for the insight.

Try out machinima, I hear they have locked in rates that should be applicable to your niche of "gaming"
