In order for me to view sponsored searches (for offers that only allow US traffic for example), would I have to use a proxy? I'm using the YPN right now, and for my keywords, I don't see any of my ads.

Because I'm from Canada, does that mean all results pages are from Canada (there's a dedicated button under the Search button that says, "search pages only from Canada) but the reason I ask, is that when I perform a search in Google, the highest ranked pages show under 10 backlinks whereas for the same keywords in Yahoo, they will have considerably more (80K+ for some keywords).

Let me provide an example to further describe what I'm talking about.

if I google "xbox game rentals", there exists a total of 240,000 pages, there are only 3 sponsored ads, and the #1 link is: http://www.tescodvdrental.com/visitor/browse.html?node_id=6434 . Using the google toolbar to check its backlink, there is only one backlink and it's internal.

Can someone from the US please do the same search for me and detail what you find? Thank you for your help guys.

When I do a search with my US proxy I get 250,000 results and a whole lot of sponsored ads. It doesn't matter weather you select "pages from Canada" or not with the sponsored listing, it only filters the organic results.

I suggest you use 2 different browsers for the internet. One which uses an american proxy (you can find some good ones here - http://www.xroxy.com/proxylist.htm - I pay $5 a month) and one which doesn't. I use firefox as my normal browser but when I want to do some niche research etc... I use explorer which is set up to use a US proxy. It makes it so much easier then using web based proxies like http://hidemyass.com which don't always work.

It must filter out the sponsored ads as well, because when I search keywords I've bid on, I don't see the ads but I am still generating impressions.
