Hello, i am about to launch my own app for play store (and soon for iOS). I have a couple of questions

1. does android play store take factors like "number of reviews" VS "number of downloads" (kinda like CTR in SEO) for play store rankings? If yes, do we know what is the safe percentage to get review counts vs downloads. for example, if my app gets 10,000 downloads, how many ratings/reviews are considered natural?

2. as far as i know, play store also pay attention to factors like numbers of uninstall. same question as above, what number of uninstalls is considered harmful to our search rankings inside play store itself?

I know some people will attempt to promote their services here but I rather get specific answer. thanks!

Get your ASO done by a professional.
Keep your reviews in drip & installs high.
Also it would be good to keep another campaign with google ads which would bring in organic installs.

yes but what is the definition of "high"? is it like 30% reviews from number of installs? because the definition of high is very vague here, and many "professionals" are not actually professionals in this space. I need to have good understanding of how things work before i outsource everything. otherwise, these so-called professionals would just overcharge me for things they might not be good at. I agree, however, that I need to utilize ads to bring in organic installs

For all my clients I keep it under 5%
Example: 10,000 installs & 300 to 450 reviews (dripped)

Hi, Wokaka :)

The algorithm is changing here constantly , its not just installs/reviews rate only important ,there are many aspects to cover up beside also uninstalls .

1. Yes , in some way , you can also buy from CPI networks installs/review but you should very careful , ratio should be around 90/10 . Also, you should be prepared on deleted installs/reviews , its just AI bot thing now , some may pass ad campaign smoothly ,some lost half of that they ordered . For 10k installs , its okay to have 100 review , in short.

2. Yes , uninstall rate is important factor now but not only one. App retention is also very important factor in early rankings.
Why uninstalls are important now in nutshell : GP is very aware of CPI networks orders from dev's , and most of them they get flat install /uninstall service. So, it very bed to have to have 100 installs to day and next they all of them uninstall your app . That's why app retention is important now . Hope it helps and cheers !
