Some questions about OK.RU

So i looked into top websites in Germany. And OK.RU's rank is really high (#8 similarweb and #10 alexa). I'm a little bit confused, why so many Germans are using a Russian Social Network? I created an account and as I can see, almost everything there is in Russian.

And do you guys think there is any opportunitie to make money on OK.RU?

I assume that they aren't germans, they are "russians" = during last 15-20 year a lot of russian speaking people(not just russians, but from ExUSSR) immigrate to EU (most of them to german ) and they still like to use Ok. ru (real name www.odnoklassniki_ru).

As i know ok.ru or VKontakte have the same popularity as Facebook in russia.

I have met a lot of Germans who speak Russian language. And yes, they do have accounts at OK.ru.

Germans who speak Russian language ??? Are you sure they are germans ? Something weird for me. Even if they understand russian, i'll never beleive that any german will have social media account at OK.ru.

What was a kind of joke for me, that german people immigrating from Germany to Russia. May be from ExUssr countries, but not from EU.

Ok.ru it's used by 90% of movie and tv-show website for video ( copyrighted content working with ok.ru) if you create file hosting for video or file sharing you rank very very fast in alexa.

As for OP I would suggest not to touch it, believe me it's filled with fake accounts
Although you can promote a porn channel(it's allowed) pretty fast.. but I don't believe you will convert much, you have wat y better alternatives than ok,vk.ru
