Hello good day, just want to ask some questions regarding amazon associate.

I read somewhere that you can use payoneer if you're not from the US to get paid by amazon via the bank deposit option. Anyone tried this option?

Also I'm planning to create an amazon site this month but I don't have any account yet. Do I need to apply for an account first before creating the website? Or create the website first then apply? Do they accept everyone applying? Thank you

You can try bank transfer or payoneer is the best option, you can easily create an account......

Had 2-3 accounts before but never worked on it (too busy with Video sites). The Amazon affiliate accounts expire in 180 days if you don't send traffic that buys. As for the website; Yes you need to have a website or App to connect to the account.

Before you sign up for Real......Open a fake account to see for yourself. Opening a fake account is done by answering all the questions; Name, address, country etc... with FAKE information. The fake account you will not use. You only sign up with the FAKE info to see what kind of questions and information you need to answer and provide for your real account. Discard the Fake account after you see the Questions and requirements.

I just recently had a site and an affiliate account. The site was not finished, it had very little content. So, as soon as a sale went to Amazon from the "unfinished" site they BAM!!! Rejected my site. Here is their email:

Hello,

Thank you for applying for the Associate program. Upon review, we are unable to accept your application. A part of our criteria is that your site has to be established with enough unique content. We rejected your application due to one or more of the following reasons.
- Lack of content which is original to your site and beneficial to your visitors
- Pages that are mainly empty when advertisement content is removed
Unfortunately, we arent able to review an application once its been rejected. If your website has been further developed and now contains appropriate content, youre welcome to submit another application by using the following URL:
(https : // affiliate-program.amazon . com / gp / associates / join)
Thank you for your interest in Amazon Associates.

SO MAKE SURE YOU HAVE CONTENT. I am starting over on my new Amazon Affiliate journey. The site I am using is now in a holding pattern as I add more and more content to it and make it acceptable to Amazon.

Good luck.

Website is not necessary to apply for Amazon affiliate as they accept social media marketing .. If you have good Twitter or Facebook fan page which you think can be used to promot the affiliate products, you are good to go.. Just provide your Facebook page/profile like or Twitter profile link while applying and make sure that you promote the links and send some visits to Amazon otherwise they will ban your account for not sending visitors .. Good luck.. Happy earning :)

Amazon US let me in despite the fact that my website didn't even exist at that point - I think someone might have been lazy and clicked my link, saw nothing was loading, and just thought "meh, fuck it, we'll let him in".

Then I applied to amazon UK and at that point I had a blog set up with 1 post. I got rejected due to not being established and they encouraged me to reapply once my website was completed.

So basically, it looks like I got lucky and made it into US amazon but realistically you're supposed to have a decent established website set up first.

Amazon US doesn't check your site until you made your first sale.

Amazon UK definitely checked upon application - Maybe US is different.

Not a worry, I don't expect any sales until my site is established enough to be pulling in traffic anyway :) Thanks for the insight though, that would explain how I got accepted
