Hi,

I just planning to buy 50 Private Blog Network for my very own to make sure i can rank my own websites without getting into any trouble but i just want to know if i want to rank something like 25000-40000 low to medium competition keywords with my network will you think 50 PBN will be enough power to do this? I really need to know this to make sure if its worth or not. Thank you

its impossible to say without knowing how strong your network is (going to be?). Not all backlinks are equal and the fact that you're asking this question at all tells me you need to do more studying before you invest a ton of money into it.

Quality > Quantity in PBN too. As mudbutt said, we can't guestimate the PBN's power without knowing the DA/link metrics or your keyword difficulty.

If each domain on your PBN's has the authority like huffingtonpost, then its definitely possible to rank for a term like "make money online" with just 50 sites.

Agreeing with mudbutt, and adding to his words that if the PBN you're planning on buying is from someone selling the build as a service, make sure it's from someone like BigBuddy and not WF.

Another option is for you to piece it together yourself, and buy high powered domains. Sellers for these can be found from the marketplace as well.

OP, lots of people are selling shit bundled together and calling it a PBN.
Make sure you have done your due diligence on the seller and that you know what you are buying,

In order to find out approximately how many (and how powerful) PBN domains you are going to need in order to rank #1 for one of your terms, you'll have to roll up your sleeves and do some detective work on your top 5 competitors that are currently ranking for those particular keywords.

1. Do some research on the domain/page they are currently ranking with.

- Check the age of the domain
- Check the volume of unique referring domains to that domain or particular page
- Check the PR of the domain
- Check the page and domain authority.

If you don't have a website you want to rank with, go buy an aged pre-owned domain that is close to the one your nr 1 competitor is currently ranking with. So if the top ranking page is on a 10 years old, PR 4 domain with 100 referring domains, ideally, you want to get a similar site as your money site, as close to your niche as possible.

Go find and buy that domain.

2. Do some research on the links of the ranking site/page. You'll need an aHrefs/OSE/MajesticSeo license.

- Check the total number of unique referring domains (that's unique link per domain you'll want to simulate with your PBN).
- Check the metrics of each page hosting a link and export that information (DA/PA/TF/CF/PR).
- Check if those pages have any links themselves, write down the number (if they do, you might want to GSA your way to the natural links pointing to the PBN domains you're planning to buy...)

Now do this for all your top 5 competitors and analyze the data. This should give you an approximate idea of how many and how powerful PBN domains you are going to need in order to simulate what they are doing in order to OUTRANK them.

That should be it.

Of course, you can do this, or you can do it as I do it and simply get 50-100 PBN links from the very beginning towards the same quality aged PR domain and simply patiently wait for Google to index all those posts and track rankings meanwhile. Then slowly add more batches of PBN links if it's not enough.

So it's the quality vs quantity approach as always. The last one saves a bunch of time. But you really have to know what you're doing.

I would start with 10 PBN domains. Build them up and create pillow links. Then build more. It's possible to rank with less than 50 PBN links if you are finding high quality domains.

Before investing money please do some research.
If you want to buy PBN service then buy from an expert like BB.
Or you can make your own by buying some Aged domain, with Good backlink profile Good PA/DA and Hi Pr. And create your own PBN, If you need any kind of help about Aged domain please knock me.

One could rank 25000-40000 with 5 site pbn or could not rank 1000-2000 with 50 site pbn, so that really depends...

Make sure to diversify the domain contact info and hosts. It's a big footprint. I learned the hard way. All around it's pretty risky, but may work if done right )
good luck

So you were using same contact info on all domains , and no privacy ?

Your Right Buddy.. Using Fake Name on Each Domain is Better than using Whois Privacy on each Domain...

Or you can just use fake names on 50% of the domains and privacy on 50%, this sounds better to me.

It all matters of keyword competition. But pay attention on your PBN quality and not quantity. Create only quality sites, without footprints and with strong backlinks.

You should check the history of domains before you buy them, archive is very useful. Some of the services here is not good. Just be caareful!
