some problem ....

please , one of my site was at the first page on bing ( too low competition keyword)and other search engine ...
i have checked now , and i dont see it anymore , even when i search like this site:"example.com"
what i have done one week ago is changing my sitemap , i had 2 sitemap file
1. example.com/sitemap.xml from some plugin
2.example.com/sitemap_index.xml from yoast seo
i deleted the first , do u think this is the source of the problem ? , i don't have any spammy backlinks , juste some social profile ....
how to resolve this please ?

you will have to resubmit the sitemap in the search console, then wait for few days or week, your page will reappear

thanks , so the problem is from the sitemap ? and the site site will appear with the same old rank ?
