Hi, Want to start out by making my first adsense site, and just have a few questions:

1. Is it better to rank 10 500 monthly search keywords rather than 1 5000 monthly search as it will be easier to rank and will not require as much seo?

2. I'm aiming to make a MNS site, if I rank 10 500 word keywords with at least $1 CPC on average, do you think I can make $10 a day?

3. Is article spinning dead, and how many articles do you reccommend per site?

Thanks for the help!!!

1. It really depends on the keyword itself. The ten 500 mo. searches might not lead to anywhere if they are low quality. However, they might be more profitable than even five 5000 mo. searches if the niche is more focused and your site is optimized.
2. ten 500 mo. searches would equate to roughly 166 searches a day, out of which you will receive less than 100 clicks to your site. Out of that factor out how many will actually click on your ad. So no, probably not but that's not saying it's not possible.
3. You can spin articles all you like and, sure, it might be unique. But will people click your ads? If the content is so bad, they might be tempted to click your ads just to get off your site, but they will most likely not be back.

*just my thoughts.

Thanks for the reply, if the 10 keywords are adsense based with good cpc, would it be better than 1 high traffic keyword that is adsense based?

If I choose a 5000 month keyword would I get more than 100 clicks?

Thanks

1. In addition to what elfgirl said, you should consider the keyword competition level and how much work you're willing to put into ranking for your keywords.

2. Elfgirl provided you with a good answer.

3. I only ever spin articles I create for other sites, but I've never had an issue ranking them.

The best way to find the answer to that question is to test it yourself. There's nothing stopping you from trying to rank for the 10 keywords and the high traffic keyword. If you find that the 1 high traffic keyword results in a higher Adsense CTR, more traffic than 10 other keywords combined, and more money, then that one would be the best choice.

That depends on your ranking position and your CTR in the SERPs.

Thanks for your reply, how many articles do you reccommend for a MNS site, will 1 article per keyword (i.e. 10 articles) do?

The reason I ask for 10 keywords rather than 1 is because, I've always thought when a keyword has less searches in an easy to rank niche e.g. 500 monthly searches, it is easier to rank and will require less SEO then 1 5000 monthly keyword, is this true?

My aim is to make $10 a day (not a lot but just a realistic start), is it possible to find 10 500 month keywords that can be ranked to page 1 without much/any off page seo?

I do not care for article spinning but that is just my personal opinion. The more content that is unique the better!

Basically, You need to find Low competitive keywords first, that's all matters with MNS. if it's 500 months or 5000 , If competition is low than target the keyword with 5000 monthly search volume. as I yesterday start working with 2500 search volume keywords and some with 3500. they both have same competition. So getting rank for 3500 is more beneficial for me.

I would suggest you hire article writers for cheap instead of spinning articles, i dont know why or how but it has just worked better for me. :)

In my opinion you should add 25 to 30 or more articles. And the Content Should be unique.

The number of articles don't problem here . The quality of content is the main fact. But you may have at least 50 unique content .Visitors are not a fact too. Just develop your content quality.

The answers to every single one of your questions purely depend on the situation. You will find some keywords that have 5000 monthly searches, but less competition than some keywords with 500 monthly searches. You need to check your competitors to figure out how hard ranking will be for you for that specific keyword.

You can make way more than $10 a day depending on the KWs. If the KW is something like "buy Xbrand speakers online UK" it's naturally going to convert way better than "cool speakers" or whatever.
