Some multilingual plug-in questions

When using a multilingual plug-in, and I translate from English to Swedish, if someone searches in Swedish language, will they find my post if it’s ranked on 1st page?


I'm just curious if someone will find my posts if they do a Google search.

If your Swedish version of your post is ranked on first page, then sure they will find it. But it does not rank on first page just because your original English post ranks on the first page.

Your rankings in sweeden will depend on other factors, so being first in us for an english query does not necessary meen you will be first in sweeden for sweden queries. Anyway, setting href lang correctly can gives a help to your sweedish article, and if you are first on the english query that I beleve is more competitive than sweedish query so you have a good chance to get the first place even in sweeden I guess (this in not a guarantee obviously)
