Ah so the patch only stopped the bots from working, but not the mobile method. So if you have another way of delivering mobile views - one that YT is not looking out for, you should be ok.
And yes, channel views are pointless IMO.

Sorry but this one made me laugh hahahaha
If you do it right you can still increase view counts using bots. I'm testing for last 2 days using my custom script [not mobile] and i noticed my views increasing, i also verified from different ips and views show up in view count.
