There is some guy out there that is spreading a bunch of B.S about my site and others. He doesn't reveal his identity nor is he an authority or have any following. But he has a wordpress blog and uses other sites: scam sites, yahoo answers, reddit, etc. to spread his "scam" b.s and lies about my site and other sites in the industry.

Do I reply to his work, ignore it or what? What can I do?

Do I make a WP blog and reveal his multiple identities or...

I did try replying to one of his posts as positive as I could to disclaim what he said on his blog, but he deleted them. A few days later he wrote another b.s post about my site on reddit.

Does it really matter what others say? No matter how perfect a site is, your gonna get bad reviews. Just forget about it and move on. The only real thing you can do, is make the site as high quality as possible.

In advanced ORM circles, this is referred to as the I'm Rubber You're Glue dilemma.

Next time you kids are at recess, push him into the sandbox.

It happened to me too, he or she even created links with nasty anchor text thinking that they will harm my website where in fact they gave it nice boost :-) so justice had been served. Just forget it and move on.

OP is like:

Is he ranking for your site/brand name?
If he is ranking for any of your brand names or keywords then you will want to out-rank him and carry out ORM.

If he isn't ranking for shit and nobody is seeing his crap then you don't need to worry ... yet.

Keep an eye on things, set up google alerts for your site name/brand and monitor the situation.

Keep working on making your site better and ignore the haters. Don't waste your time with trivial things like that.

ignore, ignore, ignore...
Keep that mantra in your mind and do a good job in your industry.
Just keep focused on the kaizen of being better person and better on what you do. And go forward.

He has no followers and a wordpress blog. While this may not be harmful now, it certainly can in the future. Wordpress blogs can rank well so if he starts ranking for your business name, that could cause problems.

Reveal his multiple identities for a good and positive result.
It'll be a good sign by you to the people. He will be revealed and no one will trust him.
