Ok, so I did notice a small drop in likes over the last few days but I am not basing the assertion on that. I have 5 accounts, 4 are perfectly chronological. The fith is showing some stuff from the last few seconds or minutes on top mixed in with posts up to a few hours or more old. My guess is they are just testing on a subset of accounts. If that's the case and people are already noticing engagement drops, then it doesn't look like a great sign! However, my best engagement account has been outperforming the last few days so who knows.

Itll be hard to judge 'engagement drops' on first day or two because how the fuck does the algorithm know what you want to see..itll take some time to properly settle in and secondly, you can't judge anyway when the algorithm is only changed on their side but every other fucker is normal.

They have definitely been doing testing on the new algo since before they made the announcement. If you are making a big change to your business, you do your due diligence before you make a public announcement not after. That's common sense. They didn't just wake up one morning and decide lets change the algo. This has been in the works for months, atleast.
