Some feedback on my method. New to SEO.

Hi,

Been lurking around for a while, trying internet marketing with some success and a lot of failure. I have found some low-med competition KWs, and long-tails, and made a money site using wordpress hosted on Hostgator. I have added about 25 articles (self written mostly along with some written by professionals).

I will make 10 Wordpress, Tumblr, EzineArticles and other smaller "blogs", and some YT videos. I will add a link in the footer to my money site, and in some of the articles I will link to my money site with the anchor text being my KWs or maybe synonyms.

I am thinking about promoting these second tier sites using UD, to make a lot of backlinks from authority sites; wikis; 2.0s ++

I am a little uncertain how to structure all of this. KW density, and how to interlink the tiers is another area where I lack knowledge.

Is this the way to go? I have little experience with SEO, as I have previously done mostly article and video marketing focusing on getting direct traffic. I feel like a see new methods here all the time, so I just want to start something, but I just want to make sure that my plan makes sense.

Seems a decent enough system.
Adding video and multimedia is a good idea. Having good content on your first tier is more important if you are promoting a decent site.
Keyword density under 3%. Be careful of phrases that contain the same keyword "cell phone" "mobile phone" "3g phone" - many think this is variation - but you are spamming the word "phone".
To get the repetition of keyword high enough to establish context without spamming or over optimizing for it - have a little more content.
