I have noticed this for some time now but wanted to let you know.

When I want to publish a BST and it gets rejected/sent back to me to fix the wording issues then the BBcode (with my rejected BST) inside the DM that usually comes from iModBot is broken. You send it out to people so they don't need to start creating their BSTs from scratch again (that's great btw) but there are issues with the code as it often comes broken.

Check here for details: https://www.blackhatworld.com/direc...back-guarantee.30476886/#convMessage-35197387

First, it spills out of the intended code section, check below:

The second issue is that somehow the BBcode formatting gets messed up.

If I copy the old code inside the container above and try to create a new BST to edit then this is what happens:

The "< br >" shouldn't be there as it should automatically transform into a line-breaking element but it's not. So lots of manual work with these BST rejections, I know you guys wanted to make it as easy as possible but these issues have persisted for some time now.

Cheers!

I'm not able to see the problem very well but from what I'm understanding.

You used <b> in the main BST thread. The private message of @iModBot (I assume) copies all the content of the thread in plain text and copies it in the private message, this may be the reason why the duplicate comes out in the BBCode.

Another reason may be that the IModBot uses for some reason and has activated BBCode activated by default and maybe thus generates the duplicate for the users who use it. The difference can be seen between those who use <b> and those who do not use it and then the plain text does not find the bold in the text but if you use it with the IMod conversation in the same way it will generate it whether you use it or not because that’s the default setup

I'm rude to explain myself. I try my best, English is not my main language.

Thank you for reporting this.

Just address the bits:

In your original sales copy, you've included your email address wrapped in code tags like this:

MP Staff grabs the existing BBCode to include it in the rejection message (the point is to help sellers out so they don't have to start from scratch, as you mentioned), wrapped in code tags as well. So what happens is that the editor interprets your closing code tag as the end of that code snippet and terminates the rest of the code snippet. That's why it's outside the box (code snippet)

As for why you get HTML tags instead of the BBCode, that happened to me before and it usually occurs when the BBCode is broken, which is the case for you.

If you copy/paste the original BBCode of your sales thread, there's no problem because there are no missing closing tags.

@INCC would you like me to provide you with your BBCode of the sales thread here or, if you prefer for more privacy, I can DM you and turn that into a ticket and provide it to you that way?

I got it sorted already, but thanks for clearing this up!

We can close this then I guess.

Regards

Excellent, happy to hear that :)
