I have been reading lots of stuff about proxies and and changing IP addresses and to be honest I'm completely bogged down.

Can some body in simple terms tell me what i need to do or buy to enable me to visit sites from different IP address.

I think I mainly need to do this to login to different accounts with different user names as not to link the accounts together.

I have been banned from various loggins and need to set up new accounts so I think i need a new ip to do this.

I am in this for the long term and would like a reliable solution I have been reading about VPN but not realyl sure if this is what I need.

Any help in this area would be great.

Thanks i'll take a look at the thread. When I normall surf the internet my connection is via a wireless router, that router always has the same IP address, is using proxies the best way to change the IP??

You could try disconnecting your router's power and then reconnecting it to see if it gives you a new IP address. If not, you probably have a static IP address and one option would certainly be to use a proxy to change your IP.

Agreed, read pretty much any of the stickied threads. Gah.
